Harold McDowell’s Big Send-Off
On a snowy Monday in February, during Happy Bucks at the end of meeting, Harold casually dropped the fact that he would be retiring from Rotary. As a club we couldn’t let him go without a BIG HURRAH. 113 Years Young!
On February 21, we gathered at Red Rock Falls to help send Harold off with a big party but also to celebrate Rotary’s 113th birthday!! What an achievement. RI asked us to celebrate in a number of ways. Our very own Judy Hughes, as District Governor, donated $113 to the Rotary Foundation and as a club we signed 113 cards for area nursing homes. I love the idea of being able to celebrate Rotary milestones *as a club*. I enjoy doing things together.

Rotoactors
Seriously this should probably be put into the Main Headline portion of this newsletter because Rotaractors are the main topic here. This photo was taken during the set up phase of WinterFest. Keep this event on your radar folks—this will become a big fundraiser for the Rotaract club. This club, with the help of Colleen Gray and Brad Killmeyer is bound for great things! Stay tuned for all they do.
