Harold McDowell’s Big Send-Off
On a snowy Monday in February, during Happy Bucks at the end of meeting, Harold casually dropped the fact that he would be retiring from Rotary. As a club we couldn’t let him go without a BIG HURRAH. So we met the following week at Red Rock Falls and we all shared memories of Harold. His son and daughter in law were present and a lovely dinner was shared by all. Paul Rizza and Ken Harris shared memories of Horse shows with Harold. Kim Hohmann recalled always having a buddy at the cashiers desk at the Pancake Days and Steve Harding told me that Harold was one of the people in rotary who welcomed him and made him feel comfortable. We will miss you very much Harold! Thank you for your years of service.
