Firecracker 5K Run/Walk

All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Rotary charities.

Start Time: The race will begin at 8:00 am. Walkers will start 10 minutes after the runners. Registration begins at 7:15 am.

Registration: To guarantee a t-shirt, complete the ENTRY FORM by June 21, 2019. If you register online, you will need to submit your entry fee and complete a Liability Wavier form when you register on the day of the event.

Entry Fees: All participants who bring a pair of lightly use or new shoes to donate to the Slippery Rock Rotary shoe drive will receive a $5.00 discount from their entry fee.

  • Adults $25.00, $20.00 with shoe donation discount
  • Youth $20.00, $15.00 with shoe donation discount

Awards: $25 gift certificates will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each adult age group. $20 gift certificate will be awarded to the top male and female in the 12 and under age group

Age Groups: 45 & up, 30-44, 13-29, 12 & under

Course Map: The race will start at the beginning of the walking trail by the Slippery Rock Community Park Office and will loop through the park, pass by the Slippery Rock Elementary School and loop back into the park before ending at the Rotary Pavilion.
